SSF Passes Increase in TOT tax.

SSF Measure FF: Under voter approval of Measure FF, city officials expect to collect $5.9 million annually through the decision to hike the city’s transit occupancy tax from 10 percent to 12 percent. The increase, which collected 72 percent support, is the first of its kind in about 10 years.

For years many have asked the City Council to raise the TOT tax to improve the city’s revenue.

SSF now collects 14% TOT and SB 12%. We are leaving money on the table. Why?
