Our downtown corridor just received new signs that will influence some behavioral changes. The signs promote a powerful message. Alone they will not transform our behavior without better enforcement. They are placed on poles from one end of San Mateo Avenue to the other. When you are on the Avenue, please take note of their message. We applaud our city for sending positive messages to those who visit our downtown.
We do have one small request, please address the poor quality of the newspaper racks and garbage cans. We need to be able to recycle on the avenue.
